I thought he told me it was also so that it wouldn't get counted in the collective storage, but he has a point with the corrupted chunks problem.

Did you include the resources in the spreadsheet calculations or?

no it wasn't in the collective and as you can see from the spreadsheet there hasn't been ore imported to the desertopia collective for a while or nowhere near the amount in the screenshot i posted before

if that was the case my enderchest would be a better solution as a house is kind of visible and i showed it off to everyone.

well this is what i've been doing for the past two days.

a staircase / soon-to-be-minerail path up to portal, as well as a ladders up to the roof (and to the bedrock) although the look-out point is just at y = 81 or so.

an indoor lavapool and furnace building (empty until 1.5)

can you pleeeease explain how you find portals so accurately.

like, you connected the rails station portal and your house portal and your quarry portal and your bunker portal and you found ALL of them in the nether. I can't even find 1 portal (B-ongatar's portal) in the nether.

If you enter the portals from the overworld and write down their coordinates it shouldn't be too hard. Alternatively you could also write down their x/z coords in the overworld and divide them by 8 to get approximate coords in the nether.

Well, Bongatar is linked to the Desertopian portal, so i couldn't do that.
As for writting them down and dividing them by 8, i went there and found it was underground, and there was nothing but netherrack.
So i was wondering how mudkipz does it with that accuracy, since all his portals are linked too.

The enderman exp farm is nearing the point where I can make the cost estimate for it, so here it goes.

About 9 stacks of logs (2300 wooden planks)
About 1.5 large chests of cobble (5000 cobblestone)
About 3 stacks of coal to make stone and torches (180 coal)
About 18 stacks of redstone (1200 redstone)
238 iron
238 slimeballs
About 100 cobweb

This does not include the costs for the interior design, enchantment table, anvil and rail line.

Blacrafts first slime farm is nearly complete, but it's functional (I still have to install the storage output). You should be able to stand below the whole thing and the slimes will spawn, they kept spawning while I was working on it, so they definetly spawn.

First pic is the view from the cargo station level, second one is down below in the mines.
