Post your completed projects here.

Not your old ones, ones you have just completed, or you can show screenshots of the work-in-progress.
I have just finished my quarry. Don't know how big yet.

Well considering that ****'s skyrail idea to guodesia is failing, stuffhappens and I have decided to extend rail route 1 to guodesia. Still needs kipz's permission though, I guess.

Anyways, the projected route is roughly 1200 blocks...

Which means the total costs are insane...

Resources needed for the rails:
120 gold
900 iron

Resources needed for other:
240 redstone (including power rails)
350 sticks (including rails)
60 coal (for torches)

Resources gained:
Around 10,000 cobblestone
Likely around 200-300 coal and 50-100 iron

Using iron pickaxes:
119 iron for pickaxes  (maybe should use stone then?)
13 hours of total manpower (not including station work or rail work)

Using gold pickaxes:
900 gold for pickaxes (should use this to bug ****)
7 hours of total manpower (not including station work or rail work)

Any help, especially with the clearing of the 3x3 tunnel is nice here. :P

Edit: Mudkipz wants a stop in Forssa as well. This shouldn't be much more expensive.

The main route from Desertopia (the 1x3 tunnel) to Guodesia is complete. It needs to be made to 3x3 at regulation standards now.

Cut out 2 1x3 tunnels on the sides of the main central 1x3 one (centered on the torches). Only cobblestone and stone walls, roof and floors are allowed. All visible dirt, gravel and ores will have to be replaced.

Any help is appreciated. You can keep the ores, cobblestone and whatever you get from the excavation.

As an added bonus, whoever makes me the happiest from doing this (whether that means doing the most, doing it the best or just doing it on a day when no one is helping out) will get 5 diamonds!

Have fun!

Heres the ice farm machine that I'm planning on making. It freezes pretty quick, about 5 minutes for most of it to freeze and perhaps 10 for the rest of the way. Even though the tutorial says to use snow, it turns out that wood works just as well against pickaxes with efficiency since that's what people are most likely to use.

I'm planning on maybe spruce wood for the flooring, not sure what I want to use on top of the pistons though. Since it freezes pretty quickly, you can use one while you wait for a second one to freeze.

Not a big project that took much more than an hour.

Nearly tripled the size of my tree farm:

Birch logs per harvest:
3 stacks and 10 logs up from 1 stack and 45 logs.
Spruce logs per harvest:
2 stacks and 10 logs (biased low because to some trees weren't grown and some logs despawned) up from 1 stack and 5 logs.
Oak logs per harvest:
2 stacks and 35 logs up from 1 stack and 30 logs.

Took 30 minutes to harvest everything and 3 iron axes.

Birch trees yes. Oak trees grow slower because of the height limits, but still enough that you'd have 5-10 after chopping down the birch forest. Spruce trees take many more tries to grow since I limit their height quite a bit. Sometimes not even all the trees have grown in the farm when I cut them down, even after a few days.

Rail route 5, once the shortest route and still the newest rail route, has been extended. Originally built as an intra-Kaktoland line to connect Hellpotatoe's "KaktoCity" to Spawn, now ends in the heart of Kaministiquia at one of the maps 3 strongholds, Mojikit Stronghold.

Mojikit Stronghold is 650 blocks from Spawntown, meaning that rail route 5 has been expanded roughly 450m since I joined the server in early October.

well, he said to avoid the word 'hell' in the city
kol, LOTZUBUTT is more offensive than hellpotatoe, and he isn't banned
calm down darvincyan!!
!!

well, i can do with that, it can be netherhole (or nethole or something)
yeah, nethole is good (it will be the connection of the town with the underground anyway)

and 'piece of hell' was a mispelling, it should be 'piece of nether' (i will make an artificial nether there)

30 blocks of solid diamond (270 diamonds).

For anyone who doesn't get the significance; Spawntown currently has 270 diamonds so I have finally surpassed it and became the richest!

Silly Yqt kol. But will they be included in collective storage statistics? I guess not, if it's meant to be permanent it shouldn't. But building stuff with diamond blocks could be a nice way to store them. However our statistics won't work properly if people take out their gold, diamonds and iron to build temporary things and excluding them from the statistics.

You realize the two diamond blocks in the town center btw? Kol.

319 diamonds.

Also kipz, have you suicided or was that from the last time you logged in? If so (and permitting Bla's permission) I'll go into creative and make a hole in bedrock since the nether portal logoutevator bug seems to be common but rare.

Item Bragging Thread, but whatever.

Hmm, it would be more legit if you took the portal got glitched, and then mined the things, and tp'd out.
Or, someone would get stuck up there and tp or whatever.
Or, McEdit.

Yes, we could make a hole in the bedrock, 4x4 above (0,0) (-0,0) (0,-0) and (-0,-0) so people can get down from bedrock if they get stuck, and so Mudkipz can recover his items, but building there should be avoided.

But Mudkipz, did you have a comment on the items from collective storage? Did you take them out to build temporary items so they wouldn't get counted? Or was it meant to be permanent?

no i made a house because the collective storage was corrupty, and a bad place to store ore, but then when i moved the collective storage umm the transportation didn't go so well.

well, as i moved it, i suppose it is classified as temporary.
