Lol at Tierra Salvaje (which is more of a wilderness reserve kind of thing anyway) and Kaeshar ><

The main reason those are massive compared to the others is because it's not split up into different areas like the extensions of Desertopia are.

Also, you forgot to put Vatallus on there, which is at least as big as Tierra Salvaje.

The plugins aren't exactly 'new', but we're getting to the point where we need something like AnyoneSleep. So, here's two that I found which could be goiod.

http://dev.bukkit.org/server-mods/sleep/ A more expanded mod, but has the same functionality since the mods author said in the AnyoneSleep thread that it can be set so that if just one player is in a bed, it forces sleep. The temporary cot thing is a nice perk of the mod though as you can do sleep without affecting the respawn point, which is useful when exploring or spelunking.

Is Jace formally a part of USBR yet? I notice that you made him a part of USBR (which I have no issues with), but AFAIK, he doesn't know about the economic rules of UBSR (at least not the specifics of it maybe) unless you or someone has talked to him about it already.

I did show him the new world map the other day though (or tried to, not sure if he looked at it).

I have no idea whether this would go here or if I can make a new thread for this as it's not something I need replacing. Thanks for giving back that gold though, making all those gold swords was a hell of a waste of all that gold.

Anyways, the metals bin in the public storage apparently hasn't been restocked since someone took everything (or what we left if you haven't restocked in a while) out of there.

Hey Bla, we've still been having these random server restarts, so I'm wondering what is causing them, if you know what it is. It's more of an annoyance, but can also be a source of the rollbacks.

Also, Bla, try creating a pillar (preferrably at 20+ blocks up) and then mine your way down and see if you DON'T fall off. That rbs glitch pushes you to the side unless you're holding shift, and even then, shift is the only thing keeping you from falling off.

Also, I got the 6 stacks of iron back out of that stack of iron blocks (convenient for storage) and left the rest in his storage. I still want a refund on the gold because of the wasted use of it.

Bla, this Jace is a problem, he has basically plundered other peoples stuff and just today he took 6 (maybe a few more) stacks of iron along with at least two stacks of obsidian and all of my gold! *sigh* I had to lock all of my chests with stuff in them because I cannot trust him. Also, do you know what he did with the gold? Made tons of gold swords! The noobness is ASTOUNDING! GAH!

I trust you guys, but as long as I cannot trust him, and he settled in the swamp north of me, I'm going to be locking every chest with valuable stuff in them. Bla, I demand, no, ask of you, to look into this guy with the tracking programs, and it's not just me that he has taken stuff from, someone mentioned some enchanted stuff missing and he gave me an enchanted sword today. Whether or not it's stolen, I have no idea.

Bla, in order for me to lift the private protection, he needs to be dealt with, this is my ultimatum, I cannot trust Jace to not plunder my 'publc' chests.

I have determined through research that Random Block Reappearance Syndrome is caused by Blacraft's no-cheat plugin(s).

I'm getting the same kind of RBS you had mentioned while digging out the main passageway for a new branch/strip mine. It's annoying......

Is it in a public or private chest? I don't think you neccesarily need to put everything in the collective storage and since we know you do lots of potioning, it's probably fine.

This is just to keep track of all loses/duplications

So, here's one:
A few days ago Yqt1001 had his items duplicated (not mentioning how because some might try to do it) and idk what he did to the exess items.


He walled off the excess items. I don't think even Yqt is sure exactly how it happened, but it involved a random server restart and 10 second rollback or something.

Bla, I know I made a comment about it on the collective storage, but these random restarts really need to be looked into because it's getting annoying and causing brief rollbacks. It's also caused various other problems like people losing stuff and at one point somehow duplicated some of Yqt's stuff through some strange glitch. Whether or not it's reproduceable, I have no idea.

Also, look into the plugins, outdated plugins could be causing some of the problems.

Oh yeah, remember what happened with Kipz's library, we found out that it was due to corrupted chunks.

It's actually two lines which are on top of each other, the black one (kind of has a bluish tint to it) is obsidian and the orange is glowstone.

Bla, the updated one doesn't really seem to register the diamond that I have in there.

From the new branch that I made for the strip mining and subsequent ore extraction (also includes ore mined from revealed caverns, ravines, etc.). BTW, has anybody ever seen a 1 or 2 block wide ravine (more like a crevasse than a ravine)? Because I found one. It didn't have the usual connected cavern system, although an abandoned mine does pass through it.

1111 gravel
154 flint
1015 dirt
1783 coal
3558 redstone (thats a full large chests worth and then some, I now have two large chests+ worth, heh)
83 diamond
121 gold
572 iron
55 lapis lazuli (I wasn't actively mining this)
11456 cobblestone (several stacks were recycled back in as filler, so it's a bit less than the total dug out.)

Quontex, you can keep your 5 diamond fee for landing on the island, I went exploring and found several more mushroom islands (I thought they were suppoused to be rare, but okay...), so there is in fact, plenty of Mushroom Island for everybody.

How come you're looking for one specifically? The mountains in Kaeshar may have previously been or contained an extreme mountain biome, or at least extreme hills.

Yay finally a mushroom island. Quontex, do you remember the coords? Whoever's territroy it's in, may I build a small hut with LOTZ of bowls?

Look at the map. I don't know the coordinates either, but if you go straight west from around the middle of the swamp that is just north of Kaeshar, you'll reach it eventually.

It's a kilometer+ from the nearest claimed land. Besides, it's just been discovered (recently anyway) and nobody has claimed it, so you're free to build what you wish.

If that blue slash in the south central area is the ravine that the portal is at, I thought it was further west. Not that the ingame map is GPS accurate.

It'd be nice if the map program were able to show more subtle changes in terrain and in more detail, which I guess you can't really change.

Anyways, thanks for the heightmap. I think that basin to the west of the ravine (water filled as it is) could work for my purpouses.

So when you do mining, do you strip (ignore that) until you hit a cave or something? Then you explore the cave and keeping strip mining.

*assuming strip mining is being referred to as the same thing as branch mining, and what I'm doing in my mines*

Generally I check out the area, both to explore a bit and to secure the area from mobs. If its a big cave, I'll at least secure the area and move on, if its a small one, I'll just grab whatever ores there are and seal it off/move on.

Well, for cargo lines, we'd need to set up more of them, currently only Desertopia has a direct cargo line to Spawntown. The fact that we don't need so many boosters now helps.

I'm going to be setting mine up soon between Kaeshar and Spawntown.

It's so I can see the terrain under the vegetation (not underground, the surface terrain) in this rainforest, but if it can't be done without creating the invisible window exploit (which is NOT my intention here) or is otherwise not legit, then never mind.

Alternatively, if someone could make a map with height indicating gradiations for the island that Amazonis is on, that would be cool.

Anyways, Im practicing spelunking with Phantomninjah in this other sever so i dont lose anything valuable. 

Let me give you a tip for the skeletons, when you get attacked by one, hide behind a corner to make them come into melee range, works every time. For the situation where you can't hide behind a corner (usually an open space), just rush them, or make your own corner out of cobble.

Heres a pretty decent haul from exploring the abandoned mines plus the epicave/ravine complex. It doesn't include the coal that I had to use for torches though and a question for everybody, when mining/caving, do you usually toss the flint? Also, I was exploring the abandoned mines and collecting rails much of the time, but I did mine wherever I could.

After some, problems, I decided to relocate the portal down to the end of the trail leading west from the outpost at -1639, 1760. The Netherside portal is at -202, 63, 218.

Also, here is a somewhat closer shot of that nether fortress in the distance. The ghast in the distance there either despawned (or otherwise dissapeared) or I killed it shortly afterwards.
