I'm using them for existence of rates, not for increasing them which has diminishing returns.

I think performance is pretty stable at 20 now that i moved all my villagers away; but yes server cost might be an issue. However i don't have a way to help pay :O

edit: oh have we already started the voting phase oops

hmm, who owns the green again? also, imagine the chunk error going horizontal was extended. i would like to have my desert region increased to there since 1. i have an outpost there and 2. with my new mob factory i'm going to need a lot more sand for my gunpowder, you can see i've already finished nearly 1/3 of the yellow area. of course, if Lord_DC runs out of sand he can always talk to me and mine there.
as for the jungle i guess we could both own there was Lord_DC and I currently don't techinically own a jungle yet and jungle wood is ez.pz

i think we should increase the kick time but keep the afk time the same, so people who want to afk can afk and it doesn't affect the stats of ontime that much.
i'd usually just afk for a few minutes and then check back on minecraft to unafk myself and repeat, so it's not like this is any different
also, ops don't get afk kicked so this would equalize the afk privileges to all people on blacraft

hmm, but i clearly remember going back to my mob farm and the trying to jump into my water pile because yqt needed me to sleep but then i missed because of lag and then respawned in spawntown and then i ragequit and i had nothing and i logged in now and had that armor so idk. shrugs

did either of you have damaged iron armor, a damaged iron sword, and a damaged bow? because i remember, a few days ago, dying and then spawning in spawntown, then i ragequit with nothing in my inv, but today when i logged in i had the above items

@image number four, 1 non-stackable tool goes into the hopper and the number of pulses you want it to go (3), you put that number of items in the dropper. wow my wording^ actually it's either 4 or 3 i'll test

not sure what you mean with either spawn, as you'd have to go to that bed right? and i put the levers on opposite sides so it'd be more fair then having it on the right or left

Recently, bla and i discussed some ideas for other battlegrounds. mine was this: king of the hill
basically, both teams start on opposite sides of the zone. in the middle is a timer/countdown thing. items from a chest on top is going to a chest on the bottom. your goal is to get as many items in the bottom chest. to do this, you switch your lever off so items can transfwer below. you can also turn the opposite team's lever on to slow them. there would be no block placing or anything of the sort so the redstone doesnt break. since right now there is no progress shown on the outside, i suggest battles would be ~10 minutes long. below is a design of my timer thing.



i still don't have a place to set this up though. heh.

small bit about the battle today, the flag was changed using a block to get atop of the flag. it looked something like this
. it was impossible for them to get the fartheset wool as they have no way to place it, they would have to place it against the closer wool, and to do this they would have to be either across the obsidian part or above the flag. since they obviously arn't across from the flag, it's clear that they built that block before the battle ended. they even cleaned the flag up minutes after! using the excuse taht they wanted the flag to face a different direction! how lame. but idrc anyways as long as it doesnt happen again as people get carried away in teh heat of the battle

also, just wondering, how did you guys calculate how long the piston wait should be? or things like that.
here are my mechanics.

first off, i need to give two pulses to the pistons for it to work, as one to push the redstone block and power the dispensers and one to move the redstone block away so it's set for next time. i did this by splitting 1 pulse into two lines, one with a longer delay and one with a short delay. so that's two. looks the pic below. i have a repeater in the other one so the pulse doesn't go in a loop



(connected via inverter so i get that quick pulse)


another problem is that the 1 tick pulse is so fast this happens


sticky piston becomes non sticky

another problem: i can't use the two piston ethos design for this as it can only do like 4 minutes.

i think i'll have to do my potion 4 hopper timer or something along those lines.
i think i'll travel to your factory and see how you duel connected those hopper thingies

to get the timer of the water release and the wait, i plan just to have two timers with the same length, say 10 mintues, and i'll start one like 4 minutes after the other, so it gets 4 minutes of spawning and 6 minutes of waiting, or whatever.

it still works, which is great, but i could've made it a lot smaller and more efficent
before, each level takes 5 height
floor
dispenser + redstone dust
space
redstone block
piston

a way to do it with 3 would be

floor
dispenser
redstoneblock
piston

the piston of 1 level would be the floor of another so yeah, meh.
and i tested it it works with my timer right now, i'll post pics lter
meh. :(
